The Pegwell Building

Almost 7,500 students, lecturers and staff were in-situ so works were sensitively planned and programmed to minimise disruption

The Pegwell Building

The next generation of Hairdressers, Beauty Therapists and Child Care professionals will be able to learn their craft at East Kent College following this £1.2m refurbishment project.

The works undertaken on the ground, first and second floors of the Pegwell Building will enable students to take the first steps in these rewarding, creative and fast-moving careers via East Kent College’s study programmes.

Refurbishment of the on-site nursery has enabled those studying childcare to learn skills to engage with young children and develop them through play while working alongside industry professionals.

Following on from the successful completion of the Pegwell Building, we have undertaken further work at East Kent College’s Broadstairs campus, helping the College to expand and develop their specialist facilities for Learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LLDD).
