Wilmington Grammar School for Boys Sports Hall

Wilmington Grammar School for Boys offers an exceptional education for boys aged 11-16 and a co-educational sixth form programme.

A key aspect of their aim of producing well-rounded individuals with a passion for learning is a varied sports programme.

Students are given the opportunity to experience activities such as football, rugby, badminton, basketball, handball, volleyball, health related fitness, athletics, tennis and cricket.

Our works at Wilmington Grammar School for Boys included the refurbishment of the sports hall. The hall measuring 32m x 17m is available for hire by the public outside of school hours and incorporates a 9mm granular rubber base covered by a polyurethane layer.

The school is consistently oversubscribed, with over 900 students and as such our project included refurbishment and extension to the changing rooms to help cater for the growth in student numbers.
