Ightham Mote

Works have helped the National Trust to safeguard Ightham Mote for the enjoyment of generations to come.

Ightham Mote

Ightham Mote is an outstanding 14th-century manor house built nearly 700 years ago.

We undertook re-pointing and external refurbishment works to various buildings around the site which has been owned by medieval knights, courtiers to Henry VIII and high society Victorians.

The properties, given to the National Trust in 1985, remained in occupation throughout the restoration works.
