All Saints Avenue
All Saints Avenue won both the Margate Town Pride Award and NHBC Pride in the Job Award. A great achievement for a local team.
All Saints Avenue
A double award winning project All Saints Avenue provides 21 new homes for Margate.
Located within a minute walk of the train station, the area was previously a disused access road and had a general feeling of neglect despite a fantastic location.
The development includes 7 three-bed spacious houses with 14 apartments in the adjacent glass walled Rollercoaster House which looks out to sea.
The coastal apartments less than 40 metres from the sea comprise 8 one-bed and 6 two-bed flats. The concept architect Tim Snow conceived the new development with a flowing roof-line to replicate the waves on the sea.
All Saints Avenue was recipient of the Margate Town Pride Award and a winner at the NHBC Pride in the Job awards. Costing over £2m, the new affordable rent homes at All Saints Avenue was made possible by significant grant funding by the HCA.
Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 was achieved through a variety of biodiversity measures including planting of native trees, shrubs and wild-flowers and installing bird boxes in several eaves of the buildings.
Each of the houses benefit from parking spaces in their own private courtyard whilst under croft car parking is provided for the apartments.
