Description

The building suffered major fire and water damage which led to the emergency evacuation and long-term displacement of residents, many of whom were elderly, infirm and vulnerable.

Three phases of reinstatement work, lasting over three years at a cost of circa £15m. Selected specialist contractors and consultant advisors were involved including RJ Barwick the appointed Hyde Group Project Manager for the duration, as well as supporting several major multi-party insurance claims.
