North Cray Community Centre
Our design and build project in North Cray provided the local area with a new multi-function community centre.
This complex multi-user building won the “Best Sustainability Innovation” category at the LDSA Awards due to its “green” initiatives. The building incorporated a sedum roof, renewable energy sources, off-site manufacture and a brise soleil.
The community centre provides nursery, gym, boxing training area, hall, police station and a day centre. It also houses North Cray Children’s Centre which primarily provides activities for families with children under 5 years.
This service brings together a range of services for families from early education and childcare to health and family support, making it easier for parents to access services and help more families benefit in the critical early years of their children’s lives.
