High Weald Children’s Centre
The High Weald Children’s Centre was sensitively constructed within the grounds of Ticehurst and Flimwell Primary School.
The centre is one of several in the Rother area for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
The timber framed building forms a new independent centre at the rear of the existing school adjacent to a playing field and located along a quiet residential road of a small East Sussex village.
The construction of this project has enabled the delivery of a wide range of services to the residents of Ticehurst. These services include:
- Child health clinics;
- Family support on feeding, sleeping and behaviour;
- Early help with speech, language and communication;
- Healthy eating information;
- Access to employment information and adult education courses and training.
