How does Coombs Partners improve outcomes?

The problem

Existing risk management processes such as ‘’dumb’’ project risk registers are providing insufficient intelligence on project risk and outcomes, leading to sub optimal outcomes. In our experience, existing processes often fail to identify potential risks, overlook emerging risks, or only focus on obvious risks while ignoring more subtle or systemic ones. This has resulted in programme delays, increased costs, quality issues, and more importantly, unhappy stakeholders.

The solution

We use a smarter approach to work with the different stakeholder groups to identify and manage project risks. The risk owner within each group is then supported to develop their response plan, which we help to maintain, update and act upon through each stage of the RIBA Plan of Work.
