Following the recent completion of an extension to their workshop & MOT test facility, we are pleased to confirm our appointment for a further phase of works at Canterbury Nissan.
Our works at Canterbury Nissan will provide a high-quality motor retail environment reinforcing their commitment as a major contributor to the local economy. The project will ultimately strengthen the Nissan brand image and improve operational efficiency. This is achieved through upgrading the existing building to bring it into accord with the “Nissan Retail Environment Design Initiative (NREDI) 2.1 guidelines concept” – the global standard of all Nissan facilities, and provide advanced solutions that will serve the building well into the future. The standard provides a consistent and coherent approach to location, internal and external layouts, environmental design and vehicle presentation.
The open, bright and modern new interior appearance with centralised customer areas will maximise visibility within a more dynamic setting and make interaction an integral part of visiting the Showroom. This is further enhanced by a brand new customer entrance together with a new forecourt with additional customer parking, including new car charging points. The building will be visually and functionally improved with new and refurbished external cladding and internal services, together with new office space and equipment.
The project has been designed by OSG Architecture and Kirk Saunders Associates Engineers, with notable mechanical and electrical input from Amdell Building Services and Roger J Goldfinch & Sons respectively.
